Douglas B. Rumbaugh, Jr. grew up in central Pennsylvania. He attended Harrisburg University of Science and Technology and earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer and Information Sciences, before moving on to Lehigh University where he was awarded a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering and Mechanics. After working for a few years, he attended the Pennsylvania State University to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science and Engineering, and was awarded a Master of Science in Computer Science and Engineering along the way. After graduation, he is to begin a position as Assistant Professor of Computer Science at Harrisburg University.
